Anxiety & Burnout Counseling

For women who want more for themselves, their families, & their world.

Stop settling and get unstuck.

Sound familiar?

  • Poor sleep

  • Saying “yes” when you’d rather say “no”

  • Second-guessing yourself

  • Living in the future

  • Feeling resentful or angry

  • Asking “what if” all the time

  • Experiencing exhaustion or fatigue

  • Dreading your responsibilities

  • Trying to escape from reality

  • Fighting perfectionism

All your life, you’ve been someone others can depend on: you’re high-performing, strong, and intelligent. But now, you’re seeing that drive to perform is impacting your life in new ways.

You feel exhausted, inadequate, and unsure of yourself.

You’re thinking about leaving your job or beating yourself up for snapping at your kids. Household chores are piling up and it feels like all you and your partner do is fight.

We’re here to tell you:

Things don’t have to stay this way.

What we’ll work on

Identify

What’s truly important to you. Find a set of core values that are authentic to you and can serve as your North Star as you start making changes.

Rediscover

The best parts of yourself. Get back in touch with the things you love, heal wounds from past trauma, and learn to love & trust yourself again.

Simplify

The areas of your life causing burnout. Create systems that feel sustainable, improve self-care, and set healthier boundaries.

Problem-Solve

Where change needs to happen. Learn how to quiet ruminating thoughts, respond to anxiety, and improve relationships.

Tune In

To your own integrity. Instead of doing things out of expectation or compulsion, feel empowered to do what’s best for you.

Move

From inaction to action. You’ll walk away with concrete ways to start doing things, not just thinking about them.

What if

You could start living differently?

What if you could make decisions from a place of confidence? If you could regain a sense of focus and ownership over your responsibilities (while letting go of what isn’t yours to control)? If you woke up each day rested, no longer gripped by the worry or overwhelm of what’s ahead?

Don’t let anxiety steal another moment from you.

Frequently Asked Questions about anxiety counseling

  • We all feel worry or stress from time to time, especially when life gets busy or we’re in the midst of a lot of change or transition. Sometimes, though, these feelings can begin to impact day-to-day life: the way we interact with people around us, our work, our health, and more. That can be a sign that some support, such as therapy, might be a useful tool to develop new coping skills, understand the root of what you’re experiencing, and make changes to regain a sense of peace and joy in life.

  • It means making decisions from a place of confidence and integrity, living in abundance rather than scarcity or fear, and connecting with the truest version of yourself.

When you’re a member of a traditionally marginalized group, there are likely cultural narratives you’ve been told that have made it ever more difficult to live in this way. Our work is focused on deconstructing these things, believing all women possess strengths that allow them to actively pursue their interests, generate meaning, and cultivate generational health and wealth.

Self-compassion, humane goals, self awareness and committed action are how we ultimately discover our convictions and ourselves in order to live authentically.

  • Many times, anxiety and burnout look very similar: feelings of overwhelm, poor sleep, or the desire to “escape” using things like alcohol or food.

Anxiety, however, is usually an internal response: feelings of helplessness, fear, or overthinking driven by thoughts about yourself and internalized narratives. Burnout occurs as a result of external stress (such as caregiving or career) building up over time, to the point that you feel like you have nothing left to give.

It’s very possible that you’re experiencing both of these things simultaneously—that’s normal! What’s most important isn’t deciphering one or the other, but getting the personalized support you need to start feeling better.
